Opening Day of NWP Digital Is Conference

Filed Under (Digital Is, National Writing Project) by blogwalker on 18-11-2009

I’m here in Philadelphia for the National Writing Project (NWP) and National Council for Teachers of English (NCTE) annual conferences. I’m actually here a day early to participate in NWP’s Digital Is session, an amazing opportunity to explore digital writing and the mulitple directions multimedia writers embrace.

What a great opening keynote by Danille DeVoss, who has generously posted the slideshow so that we can share it with others.

So many brilliant voices all in one real-time setting!

Great to meet you on Friday at NCTE! I was so inspired by the work the five of you presented. I’ll be posting a blog post about it on 11/27. The URL for it will be http://twowritingteachers.wordpress.com/2009/11/27/techintegration/. It should be up a few minutes after midnight.

    Best,
    Stacey

Stacey, what an honor to have you facilitating our session – and blogging it! Wish we had had more f2f chat time;-)
