Thanks so much for this nice post! Paul and Susan and I were so frustrated by the Skype issues, because I was mostly interested in hearing from as many teachers as possible about what they’re doing to “teach Haiti.” Unfortunately, only one person got through, and I had no access to the chat room…and I can’t be on this Weds after all. Please, if you’d like to post more about what you’re doing, add comments to this post (http://learning.blogs.nytimes.com/2010/01/14/5-ways-to-teach-about-haiti-right-now/#comments) on the Learning Network. I’m hoping to get enough to do a kind of round-up post highlighting people’s ideas.
